Gauteng Horse Society Membership Breakdown

GHS has a variety of memberships to cater for the needs of all levels of riders in all disciplines:

ENTRY LEVEL MEMBERSHIP (getting started)

FULL MEMBER (serious stuff)

Each membership is also broken down into different age classifications:

PONY RIDERS (Birth - up to the end of the year in which you turn 15)

JUNIORS(Birth - up to the end of the year in which you turn 18, provided that
                        up to the end of the year during which you reach the age of 11, you
                        may only ride ponies)

YOUNG RIDERS (You must be classified as an Adult and be between
                                    16-21 years old (beginning of the year during which
                                    you reach the age of 16 until the end of the year during
                                    which you reach the age of 21)

ADULTS(Beginning of the year in which you turn 16 - you're never too old)

NOTE: If you are a Full Member who lives far away, don't think you lose out because we have a special:

COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP fee.

Apart from the above we also have memberships for those who may or may not want to compete, but who still want to stay involved:

These are all annual fees which run from 1 August to the 31 July.
